I do not think of myself as a political writer. I have no big echo chamber for my ideas. The chances of the USA moving in my direction seem next to nil, though the religious non-belief is increasing.

I write in Medium because it is fun and a break from all my academic work. I am not sure what I expect from readers, but creating a movement is not one of them. America is far too messed up politically and intellectually.

How do we turn it around? Complex question, but it won't be easy.

I read hardly anything in Medium. I am just too busy. Plus, I might not write too much more here, as Medium curators seem like they want everything in a clearly defined box. So un-creative. And Medium has changed its formatting, which is reallly hurting my reader numbers. Readers can'rt scroll down my list of articles without having to do 4-5 clicks that are slow. Laughable formatting, designed to privilege the newest.
